Quick Start

First Time Setup

  1. Launch the App: Open "Time" from your Applications folder (Mac) or Start Menu (Windows)

  2. Grant Permissions: Allow screen recording and accessibility permissions when prompted

  3. Test Shortcuts: Try Ctrl+H (Win) or Cmd+H (Mac) to take a screenshot

Basic Workflow

  1. Take Screenshot: Ctrl/Cmd + H

  2. Process Screenshot: Ctrl/Cmd + Enter

  3. View Answer: Answer appears automatically

  4. Hide Window: Ctrl/Cmd + B

Core Features

1. Screenshot Capture

How it works:

  • Press Ctrl/Cmd + H to capture your screen

  • The app supports two modes:

    • Full Screen: Captures entire screen

    • Region Select: Select specific area (configure in settings)

Best practices:

  • Capture the coding question clearly

  • Ensure text is readable

  • Avoid capturing unnecessary UI elements

2. AI Processing

Three processing modes:

A. Screenshots Only (Ctrl/Cmd + Enter)

  • Sends all captured screenshots to AI

  • Best for: Visual coding problems, diagrams, complex questions

B. Text Only (Ctrl/Cmd + S)

  • Sends only your text input

  • Best for: Quick questions, clarifications, specific algorithms

C. Text + Screenshots (Ctrl/Cmd + D)

  • Sends both text and screenshots

  • Best for: Complex problems needing context

3. Answer Display

Features:

  • Multi-page answers for long responses

  • Scrollable content

  • Adjustable font size

  • Code syntax highlighting

Navigation:

  • Scroll: Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + ↑/↓

  • Switch pages: Ctrl/Cmd + ,/.

  • Adjust font: Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + -/=/0

4. Window Management

Positioning:

  • Use arrow keys to move window: Ctrl/Cmd + ←/→/↑/↓

  • Adjust opacity for discretion: Ctrl/Cmd + [/]

  • Quick hide: Ctrl/Cmd + B

Tips:

  • Position on second monitor (recommended)

  • Use low opacity during screen sharing

  • Keep window small and in corner

Smart Voice Trigger

Interview Coder Plus includes voice recognition with smart trigger words that automatically perform actions.

Auto-Send Trigger

Say phrases like "let me think", "I see", or "got it" to automatically send your recent dialogue to AI for instant assistance.

Auto-Screenshot Trigger

Say phrases like "let me see" or "show me" to automatically capture your screen.

Customize

You can add, edit, or remove trigger words in Settings → Voice Recognition.
